Our Story

Beep beep! A rickshaw edges past you, horns blaring, tyres brushing the dust from the road. Somewhere behind you, a vendor shouts an order as a ladle hits hot metal, sending a sharp sizzle into the air. People move around you in every direction, stopping briefly at stalls before disappearing back into the crowd.

Indi-Go Rasoi is inspired by the streets of India, where street food stalls are an essential part of daily life. It is where food is made quick, tasty and served to fill hungry bellies.

Indian street food has always been more than just about flavours. It reflects the life of the city around it and the character of the people who reside there. At Indi-Go Rasoi, this is the spirit we set out to honour, bringing the warmth and generosity of Indian street food into a modern setting without losing its soul.

India is vast, and its street food shows that diversity. As you travel from the north to the south and from coast to countryside, flavours shift with history and culture. Northern dishes often favour rich, warming spices and breads made to soak up flavour, while southern street food tends to be lighter, influenced by rice, lentils and coconut. Indi-Go Rasoi draws from across these regions, celebrating the range of Indian street food all into one place. Every diner can be sure to the find their favourite.

Indi-Go Rasoi is for every part of the day, from early mornings to busy lunches and relaxed evenings spent with friends and family. It parallels Indian street markets from early morning breakfast tapris (tea stalls) at first lightthrough bustling lunchtime stalls and into the energy of night markets as the day draws to a close.

From the moment a diner enters, places their order, and watches our skilled chefs cooking in full view while another pours steaming chai, our hope is that, for a little while, every diner feels transported beyond where they are and into the warmth and bustle of an Indian street food market.

Welcome to Indi-Go Rasoi.
